You know I am always here to share my inspiration with you so that we can learn together. I was surfing the web as usual and I stumbled upon a video that gave me a buzz in my heart. (by the way, Stumbleupon.com is my latest favourite website)
It's a video of Steve Jobs (former C.E.O of Apple Inc..) speech titled "If today were the last day of my life"
This is a very interesting statement that can mean different things to different people. To some, it's a matter of how much of fun they can catch while it lasts and to some it's a matter of how much wealth they can accrue to themselves. The list is endless.
From my perspective, it is about:
- Living a life of relevance.
- Making the world a better place.
- Fully utilizing time for profit. Time is life.
- Dying and knowing fully well that you have nothing to offer the grave. This is because many people have died with great abilities inside them.
I remember so many times when I decided to procrastinate an idea because I thought I had enough time. If we keep up with such habits, we might end up just taking a stroll through life.
Yes, I know there is time for everything on the surface of the earth. This doesn't annul the fact that every moment counts.
Let me hold on for a while. see the video for your self.
Over to you
I hope you got inspired by that video. It's your turn to inspire me. If today were to be the last day of your life, what will you do?
I look forward to your comments below.
