Photos from Leverage Conference 2016 (Brace Up), at the University of Ibadan

The second edition of Leverage Conference took place on Saturday, 15th of October 2016. It was a great experience for me as it was full of lessons. I should share some of that with you one of these days. I am really glad about the progress the Leverage team is recording. If you remember, The maiden edition of Leverage Conference took place at Lagos State University (My Alma mater) on the 14th of October, 2015.

It is a platform that inspires the minds of Nigerians with actionable insights to live their full potential, teach principles of personal leadership and empower them with strategies that will help them be intentional in living a relevant life and be committed to the transformation of the nation.

The theme for Leverage Conference 2016 was BRACE UP. The conference focus for this year was on fundamental issues that affects the effectiveness of our personal leadership. The quality of results you produce is proportional to the quality of your personal leadership skills. It was not just inspiring but insightful.

The whole line of speakers shared principles and stories with great depth and passion. I am really grateful to Oluwatobi Adesanya (Founder, Relevance Initiative), Dayo Samuel (Lead Podcaster, Audaciy2lead.com), Olumide Ojeleye (Brand and Performance Consultant), Olumide Adeleye (Founder, Twim Academy) and Hezekiah Akinride (Founder, The Shift Initiative) for their tremendous support as our guest speakers.

Here are what some attendees had to say:

The event was motivating, It gave me more reasons never to give up or rather leverage on my past and tapping into the windows of opportunities all around me. The eventful event, gave me more reasons to always do a "check-up" before taking actions, as to determine the conditions/reasons (which may be Environmental/Parental/Religious) behind the actions I'm taking.
Nevertheless, the role of the young man that inspired the audience through SPOKEN WORDS should not be left out.
- OLUWASEUN BRIDGET, AYEDUN
This event made me to realize how to take up my responsibilities and not blame others. How to prioritize and manage my time. How to learn from my mistakes rather than regret. And so much more.  -IDONIJE STEPHEN AIGBOKHAI
I got to change some of my perspective about life, I was inspired by the success stories of the speakers. - OTUN OMOFOLAWE
