As a result of that, they come to the conclusion, “It’s not God’s will.” I believe it’s a wrong mentality. It is religious and not ‘Christianity’. I do not think there’s any scriptural reference that anything you plan to do and fail at, is not God’s will.
I’ve never seen a successful man or woman who had it smooth all through. In fact, most successful people had failed a couple of times before they finally made it.
A common example would be Thomas Edison who failed more than 500 times before he finally got it right.
“A failure is not the man that falls but the man that refused to rise up after falling”
What’s God’s will then?
If you think that your aspirations are not God’s will, at least you should be able to tell what his will is then. Most times, we keep saying “I don’t think it’s God’s will” but we fail to even ask “What is His will?”
As far as I know, God wants His children to know His mind. Why do you think he gave us the same Holy Spirit?
I’ve discovered that all the heroes of the bible knew God’s will for their life. Directly or indirectly, it was obvious to me that God wasn’t hiding it.
He is your father. Always be sensitive to Him. He is always telling you His will if you look inside you, you will know.
Failure is a Path to Success
If your relationship is very messy, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is not meant to be. It might just be that you are still doing something wrong. If you are having bad grades, it doesn’t mean you are not meant to be in school (just like some of my Nigerian friends believe). It could just be your trial phase in other to discover yourself
No matter how bad it might be, don’t assume! Demand to know why.
The Holy Spirit is your closest friend. Learn to always communicate with Him.
I love to make new friends. Feel free to send me a message anytime. :)
