Yes, you heard me right. Why must you eat Kote? Is it by force? I’m sure you are wondering what I mean by this.
Actually I’m not talking about the literal Kote fish. For you to understand where am coming from and where am going to, let me explain better.
It all started 2 weeks ago after 3hours of hectic drive from school. I finally got home with high anticipation that I will eat a sumptuous meal to really end the day well. Little did I know that what was ahead was more than I was expecting.
Dinner was served and in my dish was filled with well wrapped wheat meal, vegetable soup and fish.
It was a great sight to behold. I was enjoying the meal until I took some fish into my mouth and my countenance changed.
It was not the regular fish I know. It was just not what I was expecting. It was not the kind of fish I was used to and that ended my meal. That was how this blog post was conceived.
You might say “OK Abraham. I don’t get it. What is it with the fish story?”
5 Shocking Truths I learnt From My Fish Accident
1. Life can be Unpredictable
Someone once said that life has so many unpredictable moments, many paths and memorable times. So enjoy the surprises, explore new paths and cherish the momentsIn my case, It never crossed my mind that I would taste a strange fish.
2. Do not get use to norms
The truth about life is that if you all keep sticking to the norm, you will remain stagnant in some things. Learn to ask the “why?” questions. They help you see things in a different light and therefore more room for creativity. If you keep believing that the way you perceive life is just the way it is, then you might just be sitting on a single story.

Some people are just so mentally depressed that what they do all day is feed on junk ideas.
They never discover themselves but just spend each day swimming in mediocrity.
They successfully cover it up by saying “That’s just who I am”. When in the actual sense they don’t just have the guts to try new things
4. Break new grounds
There's something about taking a plough and breaking new ground. It gives you energy. - Ken KeseyEnergy is the ability to do work. The conventional thing is that to gain energy you must feed yourself. There is another non-conventional form of energy you get by burning up your ideas and potentials. It is called “Innovation”.
Yeah! That is the energy that has brought about development in the world. Where do you belong? Are you the eater or the giver?
5. Keep breaking grounds
It is one thing to break new grounds and it’s another thing to keep breaking grounds. I know that true success lies in you beating your past records. When you get a grand success the first time, you never know it might just be a luck. One way to know if it’s luck is by trying again!
Some people don’t quite agree with this but I know one thing for sure. I love challenging my past records!
